O.E. Welcomes Bacanal Intruder

We’re kicking off 2012 with a new addition to our roster, Spanish artist Bacanal Intruder. Having worked closely with Dot Tape Dot in the past, he’s actually been in our extended musical family for a while. We can’t wait to share his new album Do While, If Else with everyone this spring. There will be audio clips to sample in the coming weeks, so please check back.

Flying Over Bañugues

.tape.'s debut album, Flying Over Bañugues: Loops & Sketches (Optical Sound & Aspic Records), is available for free download at archive.org, courtesy of Aspic Records. This album is a collection of tracks from 1999 to 2002. These tracks are incredible – far more intricate than “loops & sketches” would lead you to believe. 5th Anniversary

Today is the 5th anniversary of our first proper release, Sneaky Thieves’ accident(s). That makes us 5 years old! Thanks to all the people who’ve helped make this possible. There’s plenty more to come.

A Deadly Duo Summer Soundtrack
